Patriot Boot Camp

DAV Patriot Boot Camp is a transformative program that empowers founders in the veteran and military community, including spouses, with comprehensive entrepreneurship start-up education, mentorship, access to resources, and a vital community committed to their successes.

Through in-person events and digital programming, DAV Patriot Boot Camp prioritizes the unique experiences and skills that Vetrepreneurs bring to the table, channeling their exceptional leadership, discipline, and adaptability into the realm of business creation. Our comprehensive curriculum blends practical education, experiential learning and personalized mentorship, providing a powerful foundation for veterans to launch and scale their own ventures.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Member of the veteran or military connected community (includes spouses)
  • Owner/Founder of a For-profit business
  • The company has a live website
  • The company has generate revenue and/or raised capital within the last year
  • The company is scalable and looking to grow (i.e. pursuing large increases in revenue and/or profit margin, entering into new markets, investing in assets, Enhancing systems and efficiencies.)

What to Expect
  1. Registration:
    • Registration is on a first come, first serve basis and meets the eligibility criteria. You will be notified of status as soon as possible.
  2. Agenda/Mobile App:
    • Once you’re accepted into the program, you’ll have the opportunity to download the DAV Events mobile app, where you can access the agenda, presenters/attendees, materials and documents, info about locations, and many other features.
  3. Hotel Information:
    • DAV does not cover room costs for the nights of the program. We will have a partner hotel that we recommend staying at. Rates are negotiated ahead of time but you are responsible for making the reservation. While you do not have to stay at the partner hotel, we highly encourage it. We recommend booking your hotel for the night before the program begins (Tuesday evening) through checkout on Friday.
      • Any incidentals and additional nights will be at your own expense.
      • You will be required to provide your personal credit card to the hotel for incidental charges to your room, including parking.
      • Guests not registered for the event are NOT permitted to attend
  4. Transportation to the Hotel:
    • You are responsible for your transportation from the airport to the hotel. We provide transportation while you’re here as long as you stay in the partner hotel, otherwise, it’s at your expense. We provide transportation back to the airport.
  5. Parking:
    • We provide parking for all events.
  6. Cancellations:
    • If you are no longer able to attend, notify us as soon as possible by emailing patriotbootcamp@dav.org. Failure to notify could result in ineligibility for future programs and we don’t want you to miss future opportunities. We understand circumstances can change, so please let the team know if you cannot attend!
  7. What to Bring:
    • You are welcome to bring your own notebook or laptop/tablet to take notes during our sessions – there will be plenty of actionable items and takeaways to keep track of! Be sure to bring physical or digital business cards and your best networking skills.
  8. Attire:
    • The attire throughout the program is business casual for all events. Please try to wear comfortable shoes as there could be activities throughout the day.
