Applications are closed for the DAV Patriot Boot Camp Spring ’23 event

Will you mentor veteran entrepreneurs?

This intensive three-day program makes entrepreneurship more accessible for up to 50 founders in the veteran and military connected community, including spouses. The quality of the program is driven largely by the willingness of business leaders and experts who contribute their time as mentors. Ideally, we would have up to 50 volunteer mentors to meet one-on-one with our entrepreneurs in “speed-dating” style interactions, providing invaluable advice and guidance.

Entrepreneurs or those with experiences and skills who can contribute as mentors are subject matter experts who have relevant expertise in entrepreneurship. Mentors can be subject matter experts in a specialized area (product development, operations, legal, finance, marketing, sales and business development, etc.) or have broad experience as a serial entrepreneur or founder of at least one successful startup venture. You do not have to have served to serve those who did. Whether you were in the military or not, this is a great chance to use your special skills to support our heroes. Mentors are valued foremost for the useful business perspectives they bring participants.

Mentor sessions will take place on Thursday, May 18 from 3 – 5 p.m. and Friday, May 19 from 9 – 11 a.m. We ask that you arrive by 2:30 p.m. Thursday (or sooner if you’d like to join us for lunch at noon) and 8:30 a.m. on Friday (breakfast is served at 8 a.m.).

If you are interested in participating in this program as a mentor, please contact info@patriotbootcamp.org by Monday, April 3.
