Dave Knox

Dave is a brand builder, startup advisor and venture investor who leads Blue North, Northern Kentucky’s innovation hub. He helped Rockfish, a multi-media advertising firm, become one of the fastest-growing agencies in the country and was named the 2015 Chief Marketing Officer of the Year by the Cincinnati Business Courier for that effort.  Dave co-founded The Brandery, a seed stage consumer marketing venture accelerator. In 2019, he acquired and rebranded Nature’s Willow, a company that sells a line of health and wellness products. He cut his teeth in business as a brand manager for Procter & Gamble, where he led digital business strategy and global branded entertainment among other responsibilities. His book, Predicting the Turn: The High Stakes Game of Business Between Startups and Blue Chips, was the Grand Prix Winner of the WPP Atticus Award. Dave is a marketing graduate of Miami University, where he was active in numerous activities and societies.
